After Care

BRUSHING- Brush hair gently, starting at the ends and working up to the roots. Use a designated extensions brush and avoid excessive pulling and aggressive brushing.

WASHING- Gently wash hair extensions with a sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Avoid applying condition directly to the bond as it can loosen the application. Rinse with cold water to seal moisture into the cuticle. Use a deep conditioner/hair mask every 3 washes.

DRYING- Apply leave-in conditioner or serum to damp hair. We do not suggest air drying; use a hair dryer to ensure a smooth finish and never blow dry your hair upside down. Follow with a serum or hair oil to add moisture.

STYLING- Apply a heat protectant to shield the hair from heat damage. A blow-dryer, flat iron, or curling iron may be used. Use hair oil consistently as our scalp only produces enough natural oils for natural hair, so you will need to supplement to allow continued moisture for your extensions.

SLEEPING- Never go to bed with your hair wet. Sleep with your hair in a low ponytail or braid. Try to use a silk pillowcase as this will help avoid matting.

COLORING/TONING- We do not recommend any coloring or keratin services on the extensions. We do not recommend the use of purple or toning shampoos as it may cause discoloration. At your move-up appointment we may be able to root smudge, gentle glaze, or purple-bath your hair to maintain the color.

SWIMMING AND FITNESS- We do not recommend swimming with your extensions. The risks include: discoloration, absorption of unknown elements, tangling/matting, and excessive dryness. If you chose to swim with your extensions, please know you are doing so at your own risk. If you are using sunscreen PLEASE ONLY USE MINERAL SUNSCREEN, as regular ones will discolor the extensions.

How do you determine the amount of wefts/rows I need?

Depending on your natural hair vs. the desired look, I determine the amount of rows needed, the amount of wefts is determined by the fullness required to look natural.

I just got hair installed somewhere else, can that be used?

Unfortunately, we only install hair purchased through our salon to ensure quality.

What Brand of hair do you use?

We buy directly from a wholesaler that other brands purchase from. This helps ensure we get hair that is affordable for all of our guests and is the highest quality.

I have curly hair, can I get extensions?

S-Shaped Curl pattern hair is availble, however the colors available are limited.

Is coloring/ purple bathing included in the installment/move-up?

These services are extra-charges and are only used when necessary to maintain or correct the color of the wefts. 

My extensions feel loose, what should I do?

Sometimes our wefts get caught on our brush, or a bead slips. If this happens just text to come in for a five-minute stitch fix. Because the extensions start out so tight, when they drop some clients feel as if they are falling out. Do not panic, simply send a picture of your concerns to see if attention is require!

My hair is very thin, am I a candidate?

Most clients are candidates for invisible bead extensions. In some case, some guests do not have enough coverage on the top and the extensions will not easily be hidden. We pride ourselves on having our extensions blended and will let you know if you are a candidate of not!
